Fear comes to town knocks the people down, drives the
masses mad. Nearly everyone around you is doing something bad. Fear jumps in the river and says: “It’s the only way to go!”
And everyone around you is saying: “Go with the flow.”
Flow until you fall, fall into the sea, flow until you fall into the sea
of misery.
Chorus: Be like the trees, planted by the steams, bringing forth the fruit, in the season of our dreams. Let your roots go down
into the cool river bed. Let the waters all go crazy on the surface overhead.
Confusion’s a cloud and it blocks out the sun. It gathers up the
Storm which will rain down on everyone. Cities, towns, and countries,
crowns, and most of what you see...will overflow the rivers, that will fall into the sea.
Bridge: Don’t be hypnotized, plant yourself among the wise. Let your roots go down; arise!
